Karen R. Dow obtained her Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science and Communications, magna cum laude, from the University of Pennsylvania. She obtained her law degree from the University of Houston Law Center, where she was an Associate Editor of the Houston Law Review.
After law school, Ms. Dow served as a law clerk to Administrative Law Judge Robert L. Barton, Jr. at the United States Department of Transportation in Washington, D.C. Prior to joining Connelly ∙ Baker ∙ Wotring LLP, Ms. Dow worked at two litigation boutiques in Houston, and most recently worked for eight years at Kaye Scholer LLP in New York City.
Ms. Dow has handled a wide variety of cases, including environmental matters, transportation and aviation litigation, regulatory compliance, personal injury defense, products liability, toxic tort, pharmaceutical defense, employment litigation, medical malpractice defense, insurance defense and commercial litigation.
Ms. Dow is licensed to practice law in Texas, New York and the District of Columbia.
