Sheryl S. Norman is a trial lawyer focusing her practice on railroad litigation. She has an active trial practice defending railroads in grade crossing, collision, and Federal Employer Liability Act (FELA) litigation. In addition to the many railroad cases tried to a defense verdict, Ms. Norman has handled an array of other personal injury matters and appeals in railroad-related matters. After more than a decade at the railroad litigation boutique of Gibson and Associates, Ms. Norman and Mainess Gibson joined the Firm where they will continue to expand their railroad-related litigation practice.
Ms. Norman is an active member of the National Association of Railroad Trial Counsel (NARTC) and legal presenter for that organization, as well as a member of the Houston Bar Association. Ms. Norman obtained her Bachelor of Arts degree, with honors, from the University of Texas, Arlington in 1990, and in 1993 graduated from Baylor University School of Law. She is licensed to practice law in Texas, as well as the United States Disrict Courts for the Eastern and Southern Districts of Texas.
