From the very beginning of her legal career, Sheryl Norman has enjoyed an active trial practice focused primarily on defending railroads in personal injury litigation, including grade crossing, trespasser, and Federal Employer Liability Act (FELA) cases. From 1994 until 2007, Ms. Norman practiced with Mainess Gibson at the railroad litigation boutique firm Gibson and Associates. In 2007 she moved with Mr. Gibson to Connelly • Baker • Wotring LLP, where she is currently Of Counsel. In addition to representing railroads at the trial and appellate level, Ms. Norman has defended an array of other cases involving personal injury, property damage and employment issues.
An active member of the National Association of Railroad Trial Counsel (NARTC) and the Houston Bar Association, Ms. Norman obtained her Bachelor of Arts degree, with honors, from the University of Texas, Arlington in 1990. She graduated from Baylor University School of Law in 1993. Ms. Norman is licensed to practice law in Texas, as well as the United States District Courts for the Eastern and Southern Districts of Texas.
